Orders
See also our Ordering
Information page. Orders placed on this website are sent
through to us on-line via secure e-mail. If you would like
to contact us by post or fax please see our Contact
Us page for our postal address or e-mail us on info@kennedys-books.co.uk
You can also place orders by phone on UK +44 (0) 8456 440 261
during normal UK office hours.
Orders placed on-line will be confirmed automatically by
email. This does not guarantee that we can meet your order.
You will be contacted promptly if your order cannot be met
or if there is a delay in despatch and you will be refunded
as appropriate.
If you have asked for a prepayment invoice (pro-forma invoice)
it will be sent to you once we have received your order and
checked that all the books are still available. We will not
send any books out until payment has been received.
We will indicate if an item is available and we will aim
to keep this as accurate as possible. However, if we are unable
to supply an item that you have ordered, we will contact you
immediately and refund your money.
Prices are as displayed on our website and are in British
Pounds. There is also a Euro and US Dollar price shown but
these are approximate and may not have the current exchange
rate. We advise our customers to. We try to ensure that prices
shown on our website are accurate, but they will still need
to be validated before your order is processed. If there is
a price difference, we will contact you immediately and if
you wish to cancel your order, we will refund your money.
Prices displayed are exclusive of VAT and delivery charges.
At the moment there is no VAT charged on books in the UK so
VAT will be 0%. Please see the Delivery section below for
charges.
Payment
Payment can be by Amex, Visa or MasterCard credit card or
by Switch, Solo or Delta debit card if you are ordering online.
To ensure that shopping online is secure, your credit/debit
details will be encrypted so as to minimise the risk of your
details being read by an unauthorised individual as they are
sent to us over the internet.
You may also by cheque or postal order if you wish. Payment
will need to be received and cheques cleared before goods
are despatched.
Cheques should be in pounds sterling and drawn on a UK bank.
They should be made payable to ‘Kennedy’s Publications
Ltd. Please ensure that any postage charge is included. We
also accept Euro cheques for the equivalent amount in Euro
but please add 10 Euro to your payment total to cover bank
charges.
Payments can be made by bank transfer and full details of
our bank will be on the printed order generated when you order
on-line. They will also show on our pre-payment (pro-forma)
invoice if you have requested one. Please ensure that all
bank charges are paid.
No contract will exist between Kennedy’s Publications
Ltd and the customer until goods are despatched. Acceptance
will be deemed complete and effectively communicated at this
time. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on
receipt of payment and despatch of the goods.

We will take great care to ensure that you receive your goods
in perfect condition and that they are in good working order.

certificate from your Post Office for us to be able to refund
your postage costs.
